Silver Lake Park

Last night we went out on a date. Something I think we've technically did one other time. We had dinner at Red Lobster (can you believe this was his first time there?!) then we went to see Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys. Great movie, I totally recommend it. Seriously, Mr. Perry is a genius - he writes, directs, produces AND acts in all of his movies! I have only seen one other movie of his, Madea's Family Reunion, but even though I new nothing of this new movie I just knew we'd like it since I like Family Reunion so much. I love his movies for the real life situations and life lessons. We didn't get home until around midnight (which is late for us old ladies!) so this morning we slept in til about 9:30 (which is also late for us!) We had a small breakfast and then headed out with Phoebe to Silver Lake Park. It's a great park with a small beach, a couple playground areas, a few ponds with many ducks, several picnic areas, and a winding path.
Here's some pictures we took. The one with the small, blurry bird... we were informed that it was a bald eagle! Supposedly there are at least two that live in the area.
